The State of Oregon estimates that 1 in 8 Oregon youth are currently disconnected from school and work—but not at Heart of Oregon Corps. For 25 years, we’ve been bridging that gap by training rural and underserved young people for careers that tackle Central Oregon’s greatest challenges: construction, childcare, wildfire risk reduction, and public lands conservation. Since 2000, more than 5,000 youth have gained hands-on experience, certifications, and confidence through our programs—setting them on paths to thriving, sustainable careers.
Now, we’re building for the future. Our new $7.3 million, 3.4-acre campus in Redmond will unite our training programs in one purpose-built location designed to empower the next generation of Central Oregon’s workforce.
You can help make this vision a reality. Every gift brings us closer to completing Central Oregon’s first workforce development campus—a place where youth will build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
